B&O Beosound Stage review: a stunning soundbar both sonically and visually

The Beosound Stage sounds absolutely fantastic for movies, and is a top-tier music player and streaming speaker, too

Impressive with movies and music ; Beautiful design ; Dolby Atmos compatible

Doesn’t deliver full Atmos immersive audio ; Heavy price premium for the most stylish finishes ; Just one HDMI input

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage review: An impressive soundbar debut

The Danish design kings' first soundbar offering is a cracker for an all-in-one system. It's pricey, but its sonic delivery is sublime.

Expansive and detailed sound ; Excellent bass extension ; Multi-room capabilities ; AirPlay 2 and Chromecast ; Attractive and well made

No DTS:X support ; No expansion options ; No included remote

The first soundbar from the Danish kings of minimalist cool, so naturally it looks gorgeous, but it’s also a superb sonic performer. The soundstage is expansive and despite the lack of separate subwoofer, it’s capable of deep bass. There’s no dedicated...

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage

Bang and Olufsen Beosound Stage review: Beauty and the bass

If you can afford it, you won't find a sexier soundbar. But for immersive movie sound, you'll find better options from other companies that will save money too.

Gorgeous design ; Deliciously deep and resonant bass ; Tons of EQ customization options ; Airplay 2, Bluetooth, and Chromecast ; Simple and flexible wall-mount

Expensive ; Unimpressive Dolby Atmos ; Only one HDMI input ; B&O App needs improvement

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage Review

Delivers refined, rich low-frequency depth and crisp, detailed highs ; Attractive design ; Supports Dolby Atmos ; Good companion app

Expensive ; Not for those seeking theater-like rumble ; No subwoofer output or wireless sub support ; No remote

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage is the most attractive soundbar we’ve tested, and it has a bright, rich sound signature—but don’t expect sub-bass rumble.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage Review

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage is a high-end 3.0 setup. This unique soundbar has a premium build and can be reoriented to sit upward on your table or face out...

Can get loud. Graphic EQ and presets. Supports Dolby Atmos. Dialogue enhancement and auto-volume/night mode feature available. Outstanding wireless connectivity options.

Struggles to reproduce low-bass. Wide bar. No room correction.

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage is decent for mixed use. It has a slightly boxy sound profile that lacks a bit of low-bass, which can affect thumpy genres like EDM or action-packed movies. However, its companion app comes with a graphic EQ and...

Great sound

I have been amazed by the quality of sound, I have been picking up new sounds never heard on my previous speaker. The speaker was simple to install and simple to set up. In my opinion it is far more aesthetically pleasing than other speakers.
