Audyssey Audio Dock

This on the face of it looks like a rather posh iPod dock, it has rather nice speakers and good sound. Pick it up and you will probably wish you hadn't as it is heavy. So what other features make this Audyssey dock stand out?

Apart from the price, is the ‘User Manual’ or really lack of one as the downsides and if they get warranty claims for items being wrongly connected they only have themselves to blame for not providing information on the sockets

Audyssey Audio Dock

The Audyssey Audio Dock is a Bluetooth speaker system with solid overall audio performance, but the digital signal processing in play here to prevent distortion means audiophiles and purists should look elsewhere.

Streams audio via Bluetooth, but includes a dock for iPhones and iPods, as well. Quality audio performance. Doesn't distort at top volumes, and gets quite loud. Works as a speakerphone

Digital signal processing prevents distortion but manipulates audio. Remote needs to be positioned at a specific angle to work. Some buttons, like Play/Pause, can require multiple taps to respond

Audyssey Audio Dock review

Audyssey says it was inspired to name its first iPod/iPhone audio system after the South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood in San Francisco because of its "eclectic blend of energy and history." Well, we're not sure what that means, but the Audyssey Audio...

Excellent sound with good detail and bass; GSM-shielded so iPhone doesn't need to be switched into airplane mode; built-in Bluetooth for wireless streaming from iPhone, other mobile devices, or Bluetooth-enabled PC; speakerphone capabilities; USB PC...

Fairly expensive; vertical styling may not appeal to some buyers.

Though the Audyssey Audio Dock is on the expensive side, it's one of the better-sounding--and versatile--iPod/iPhone audio systems with built-in Bluetooth and speakerphone capabilities we've tested.
