Altec Lansing iM310

A portable travel solution.

Folding design, AC or battery operated, charges while playing, auxiliary input

No included line-in cable, no remote control, no bass/treble adjustment, distortion at high volume levels

The iM310 is a fair travel solution, but don’t expect brilliant sound quality. At this price it's pretty decent value.

It takes more than white plastic to make a speaker "iPod-compatible," but the Altec Lansing inMotion series is a product line that does more than pay lip service to Apple's design philosophy.

Styled to complement Apple's iPod; efficient digital amplifier; AC or battery powered; charges your iPod's battery; can accept input from non-iPod players.

Heavy bass overloads speakers; very inexpensive adapter recommended for use with iPod Mini; doesn't work with original (nondocking) iPod.
