Transcend's SSD370 delivers swift performance in capacities all the way up to 1TB.

We got the first glimpse of Transcend's SSD370 at Computex last year and now the drive has been in retail for quite some time. The interesting bit about the drive is its custom Transcend firmware, which is accompanied by a relabeled Silicon Motion...
I don't hand out the "Recommended by AnandTech" award very often, but I think it's justified in this case. It's not an overstatement to say that the SSD370 is overall the highest performing value drive and on top of that the pricing is very alluring. I...

Transcend's premium SSD offering consists of a custom Silicon Motion controller that enables encryption and DEVSLP, but questionable flash makes it a poor choice.

Transcend SSD370 drive is an energy-efficient drive that is build on 2.5-inch form factor and comes with 3.5 bracket. This enables you to use the drive with laptop ultrabook or desktop PC. It is suitable for people looking for a fast
Silent, looks good, no heat, comes with 3.5-inch desktop adapter, three years warranty
Slow write speed
Transcend SSD 370 128GB drive is suitable to enhance the PC performance. Though the read and write speed of the drive is not exceptional than other 128 Gb drives we received for review, yet it costs less than Plextor M6S 128 GB SSD.

Have had for about a year. Booted from power-off to start screen in literally 6 seconds. Inspiron 15 i3 <----- Yes an i3 I pushed the RAM up to 8GB and this thing flies. It's faster than a friend's i7 with an HDD. Windows 10 Pro slowed it a little,...
No-name outperforming the Known-name I had. Well priced. Worked immediately, fit snugly and properly.
None, not a single one.

produces advertised speeds and 256gb for this price is a great range from a great company good job transcend :)
FAST many of you might see the brand name Transcend and get scared but they've been around for a long time since before i was born 1992 making business class Ram and flash drives and card readers among other things a great brand name product. do not...

Purchased almost exactly 1 year ago. It was an easy install and has worked flawlessly with moderate use since that time.I like that in an SSD. Good job Transcend!

Like the reviews generally say, fast and cheap. Doing it so far. Clone software from their site, not so much. Try something else for that.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
One of the issues that caused me to swap drives was really long boot times and a quirk where if I create a new folder in Windows Explorer it will not show the new folder until I perform a refresh. This hasn't changed with the new drive. Any thoughts?
Most everything I have is in the Pros column. I noticed a huge slowdown on my main computer and decided to swap out an older 240gb OCZ SSD with more room. The swap was really painless. The time it took was somewhere overnight. I let it go. When I...
No Cons for this Drive. I reserve one star for longevity which I'll have no idea about until the time comes.

I have two video editing machines that occupy the same corner desk. I can start them both at the same time. Before the addition of this SSD these two Win7 Pro machines would start within seconds of each other. Now the SSD boot drive machine is ready...
Boot time improved by 45 seconds or more. Websites now display with the same speed as when I moved from a phone modem to a cable modem... which has slowed considerably over subsequent years
It took this long for the prices to drop to my ability to pay
