Great for those large files

 

Using USB interface: (I dont have an eSata port to test) ; Read speeds for large files of 80MB/sec+ I was able to transfer a 1.5GB ISO file in less than a minute ; Write speeds for large files of 10-20MB/sec ; Great to transfer ISO images or any other...

Write speeds for tiny files is very slow ; It took over 4 minutes to transfer a folder 95MB in size because it contained 20,000 tiny files

Dead after three week

 

Try to avoid this product, and by other products with higher egg rating.

Pretty nice design with USB and eSATA

DEAD and won't connect or be detected by Mac or PC within three week of use
