My only thought is that you shouldn't feel more comfortable with this guarantee. It lost seemingly random files. The titles were there, but the data was gone. Then the drive was gone. SSDs aren't like normal disks where the data is "in there somewhere"...
The drive is extremely fast
It broke after 3 days. Tech said that they'd had some problems with controller and send it back ; He gave me a tech assist number to put into an online form, and the form sent me a nice confirmation email. It later sent me a series of "DELAYED SEND"...

If I had more ready cash, I would buy another for my other notebook. The thing you should most look for in an SSD is upgradable firmware with support for trim, or if you are not running Windows 7 (which has native trim support), look for the...
Installed 3 months ago (August 3, 2009) in an Acer Aspire 7720-6569 laptop. Detected immediately upon installation. Installed Vista 32 bit with SP 2. Very fast! No stuttering. Came with firmware 1571 (the newest as of November 3, 2009). After 3 months,...
Still a little pricey, but considerably better than a year ago. I can't subtract an egg for that, since I knew the price when I bought it

I hope that it is not a big issue and have returned it for a replacement. these drives are going to be the way to go, as soon as they can bring the prices down!
This drive is the fastest drive ive ever owned! and as soon as the prices come down, im going to start putting these in all my customers computer builds! what a difference
I bought the drive, had it in my computer for maybe 10-12 days and the drive failed

Even though the card was detected automatically by Ubuntu, it was unable to connect to my access point. I'm using WPA/WPA2 PSK and after a lot of experimenting, I was able to get it to connect by only enabling AES instead of TKIP/AES on the access...
If anyone has HD Tune i would love to know what it benches at under it. im thinking of buying one myself
i have 2 74GB raptors in raid 0 in perfect condition, and it's hard to decide if i need faster if its benificial :)

This is my first SSD, Seagate 500GB went dead, ordered this to get back up and running while waiting on Seagate to send replacement. System as follows: Windows 7 RC 64-Bit Intel Q9550 @ Stock 2.83GHz 8GB DDR2 ATI Radeon 4850 1GB XXX Edition (XFX Brand)...
Sata II, Very High Read and Write Speeds. Awesome for Gaming, and those who want all the performance w/o exception. 10-year warranty. Comes with adapter from 2.5" to 3.5
High Price / GB (With exception of other SSD's)

This is my first attempt at using SSD as a boot device, so far - so good!
Small compact size makes it easy to work with, especially in this particular config. The case is already pretty crammed! I'd never seen on before, so when it showed up, I was really surprised how small their footprint is
Included 'case mount' bracket wasn't treaded to match my Antec 900 case screws (specific screws for the removable drive modules). Thank heavens for a big screw driver and brute force ; Can't wait until the prices on these things comes down
