Not for all cases

 

In short... If your computer has some sort of drawer which holds your HDs and that slide into your computer you may have difficulty. I also overlooked the small "2" when ordering and ended up with two SETS of enclosures or two more than I wanted,...

It's a great idea and heads and shoulders above the tin plate that comes with the two SSDs that I have (Patriot and OCZ). IF you have a compatible case

My self built rig is in a Cosmos Coolermaster tower in which the HDs are mounted vertically in "drawers" which then slide into the case. In order to get Convoy enclosures mounted into the slide in "drawers" you have to remove the rubber cushions on...

The RAID part gave up after 9 months, keep re-building and failed. Both harddrives work okay if configured as a simple external storage.

Perfect

 

The unit comes with two locking SATA II cables. The cables alone are worth the price of admission.

This device does exactly what it is supposed to do.....put two, 2.5 inch drives in one 3.5 inch hole and connect them to the motherboard. Simple ; Beautiful finish, beautiful packaging, and $ 20 bucks on sale here at NE

I got the manual for the RAID model the 'XL ; Must have been a mistake in packaging, but you don't need the manual anyway
