Small and versatile flash drive
High-grade engineering ; Both USB-A and USB-C without cables ; Small enough to easily pocket
Expensive ; Performance isn’t special ; Limited capacities
While the engineering in the Envoy Pro Mini is exceptionally elegant, as a portable SSD, it’s a bit mediocre. While easily one of the most portable 1TB SSDs we’ve seen, you pay a high price for that milled-from-metal form compared with alternative...

Although it's packaged like a USB flash drive, the OWC Envoy Pro mini is a thumb-size SSD that copies data faster, has more capacity, and is more reliable.

The OWC Envoy Pro mini thumb drive's latest version embraces the aluminum-clad USB-C future, providing a nice balance of performance and size for tech professionals on the go.

When OWC sent me an OWC Envoy Pro Mini SSD, I was expecting an SSD – not a very fast USB-A SSD. And that is perhaps the best way to start this review
Flash drive form factor;Reliable SSD – not eMMC;Good cost per GB
None really – might have been nice to have a USB-C adaptor in the box
