Installing drivers is similar to installing RAID drivers, so no big surprise. But after a few years of being around, I thought maybe the bugs were worked out. Also, note the RMA policy on tis drive (replacement only).
Well, it does score high on AS SSD. Be sure to read everything about this drive
After installing the latest firmware and drivers from OCZ (load them on a USB stick), the drive will BSOD after sleep and every now and then decide not to be recognized by the BIOS. Based on what others say, it seems this is not unique to the UEFI BIOS

Honestly, this has put a bad taste in my mouth. I am half temped to just return it and wait for the INTEL PCI express 3.0 SSD that is coming out soon. It will only be $100 more and made by Intel... I understand though that these things happen. Being an...
This thing is fast..crazy fast. And they lie about the speed ratings, I was able to hit over 2GB read and almost 1.8GB write. Better to under rate your product than over promise though ; Windows 8.1 boots insanely fast and works perfect with this...
Okay, so the bad part is here that the drive died after 1 week of running. My computer runs 24/7 but has great airflow, so it was a full week of always on ; And by "Die" I mean it stopped booting. And the "Insert Boot Media" error I googled seemed to...

You never have too much write speed. Windows installation failed a few times. My advice is to copy the supplied driver (provided on mini cd rom) to a flash drive. My installation failed several times because I had to remove the Windows 7 CD Rom from...
Works as advertized. This 240 Gb revodrive was an upgrade from the OCZ Revo 2 series of 110 Gb. The older model boasted a read speed of approx. 500 Mb/s, the new model close to 1Gb/s. In Windows 7, the difference is particularly noticeable when opening...
Requires a hi speed pcie-slot. Does not work with sata connections. Takes a little longer to boot compared to the older revodrive
Consumer review (newegg.com)
For some reason I would always get a blue screen during a fresh install so I re-installed windows 7 on my old SATA SSD and after installing service pack 1 cloned the drive onto this one and it worked just fine. As soon as I can get the issue resolved I...
Insanely fast when installed in my old computer. Great drive, solid build, love the blue LED and the green indicator. It was easy to install
The drive seems to perform slower than advertised. Using CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 I got the following result after 5 test runs ; Seq: Read: 1148 MB, Write: 695.2 MB ; 512k: Read: 813.4 MB, Write: 613.9 MB ; 4k: Read: 25.63 MB, Write: 52.28 MB ; 4k/QD32:...

This PCI-e storage device freed up two of my Sata ports that I was using for a slower raid 0 drive.
Very cool looking product, blue/green leds and the hardware is very easy to install. The speed is as advertised
If you want it as your boot drive, you need to load Windows from scratch - no cloning ; If your bios is UEFI, be prepared to set your bios to allow for a non-UEFI driver

I would go with something else.
Pretty fast, good looking
Unreliable, causes computer to crash, runs very hot, costs way too much for what you get
