It was fast and reliable while it lasted.

Only took a year for the firmware too corrupt and now it won't boot up.

shortly after we bought this and the Previous Mushkin Drive (MKNSSDCR240GB) we had just died too, days after this one arrived.

-Good -Faster than a HD

It failed after 8months of light use it started to corrupt some files, I had enough time to back off important files. The Ssd failed some time after the back up. I do not recommend this Ssd. I think 8 months is a very short life for an SSD

It was a nice step up for my 5400 rpm laptop drive. Good price.

After about about 9-12 months, my system got very slow, and just recently on a boot up it said it couldn't find the OS. I tried reinstalling Win7., but it just seemed to sit there. I tried reading the SSD on another PC with a USB to SATA connection and...

- Cheap - easy to install

- lasted a couple of months before started to get SMART Failure - Still under warranty, but had to pay to ship it to mushkin (so the item becomes $7 more expensive)

Worked okay for first few months

- Not as fast as expecting - Two of them died at the five month mark

There are no negatives to this product. This solid state drive functions flawlessly, within its design parameters.
