Wireless storage for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – but at a price
Slim and light so very portable ; Internet connection bridging ; Many devices can access files simultaneously ; Free upgrades coming ; Web browser access for non-iOS devices
Incredibly expensive price per GB ; Relatively low capacities ; Mediocre iOS app ; Can't (yet) edit files ; No Android support
Sooner or later, you're going to run out of storage space on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. And because you've got no way of adding more inside the device, you're faced with clearing stuff off – or adding some memory externally.

When it comes to the iPhone, iPad and iPod, storage is expensive. These devices all have fixed amounts of storage, and no way for consumers to upgrade them with simple memory cards. And that can mean that people end up with less storage than they need,...
Wireless, small, reasonably priced, Android and iOS support
App is basic, gets very hot, bigger than most wired storage
The Kingston Wi-Drive works, as it should. We have some minor worries about the operating temperature and the battery life. We aren't thrilled that you can't have it plugged in to a PC or other power source and still use it on Wi-Fi either. But, both...

Extremely portable, flash-based, multiple WiFi security options and connection bridging available, good battery life, reasonable price
Memory limited to 32GB, no on-board encryption
The Wi-Drive is a tiny little SSD, no bigger than an average smartphone. With dimensions of 121.5x61.8x9.8mm and a weight of 84g, portability is a major strength as the device can easily be carried around in a trouser or jacket pocket all day

With nearly 350,000 apps and counting, the iPhone's maximum capacity of 32GB doesn't allow you to even scratch the surface of the App Store's catalog. Throw i...

Compact but limited both in capacity and performance, the Kingston Wi-Drive makes a very good mobile wireless storage expander for light-weight users.
The supercompact ; provides extra storage space for mobile devices and is capable of relaying Internet access from an existing Wi-Fi network to its connected clients.
The Kingston Wi-Drive offers a limited amount of storage space, doesn't support USB 3.0, and is slow as an external drive. The device also has a short battery life and supports only three concurrent clients.
Compact, Internet-ready, and well-designed, the Wi-Drive makes a convenient companion for frequent travelers who have from one to three tablets and a moderate library of digital content.

The Kingston Wi-Drive is a handy companion to your iPhone, iPad, and/or iPod touch that adds storage and streams content to multiple devices, but its specs don't quite match its high price tag.
Compact, light build. Can stream content to three devices simultaneously. Simple to add content. Companion iOS app makes connecting easy.
Expensive for the amount of storage you get. Short battery life. Only works with iOS devices. Limited to iOS-native file formats.

The Kingston Wi-Drive is available in India at a MRP of 3,990. Feature-wise it is not as extensive as the Seagate GoFlex Satellite as it features just 16GB or a maximum of 32GB depending on the model you purchase. If even 32GB is not enough, fret not...
