Consumer review (newegg.com)

Never going back to sata

Core I7 5930K 3.5. MSI X99A SLI Krait edition. BIOS n.3 UEFI only. 32GB DDR4 3000 Pair GTX980ti in 2 way SLI mode. Win 8.1/64 Had 2 SSD in RAID0. Placed 750 in third PCIe 3.0 x16 slot (PCIe_5) Rebooted and the SLI was buggy and I had to press reset...

Rather smooth setup, see other thoughts ; Kaspersky FULL scans in 1/4 the time ; Boot time is much faster. shutdown is instant ; RAMdisk 20GB image files load in seconds ; Most progress screens are gone. Really gone I can no longer see the profile...

Pricey as all first generation technology goes. Sadly Newegg does not sell the full height version 1.8 as does other sites

UPDATE

Finally received motherboard and got everything running. The 750 does what it says and more! Boots from Windows 7 just fine - installed Intel NVME driver at Windows install screen (prior to installing Windows). My Creo Workstation: ASUS X99-WS E/USB3.1...

It exceeds read/write specs on my system

Pre-Ordered

You will need a motherboard (Z97/X99) with the latest UEFI BIOS and NVMe support to run and boot from this drive. Win 7 requires a driver install - Win 8 and up does not. Stay Tuned!

An SSD that sheds SATA Limitations. Should be the current ultimate SSD for a workstation build. Will update review after delivery and installation

Newegg's description indicates this is the 2.5" version. This part number should be the PCIe HHHL add in card (AIC) version - it better be! :)
