Solid Performance

Lightning fast OS boot times and game loads. I have two of these drives in my PC, 1 for OS and the other for Games. My load times for Battlefield 4 are 2-3 times faster than my friends who are not using SSD drives

None really. I purchased these in 2011 and at that time the biggest SSD you could get was 120GB. Looking forward to purchasing the larger size drives this year when I build my new PC

Intel SSD 120GB

I was worried about some bad press I saw for SSD's with reliability issues. This drive has worked from day 1. $$ per MB is high compared to traditional hard disks but the performance of an SSD is worth the price.

Reliable ; Easy Installation ; Fast

120GB fills up quick

Solid

Been running this for a year with the aftermarket corsair water cooling at 4.5 Ghz with almost no effort

No real cons

Failed after 9 months

I understand that drives fail and SSD is relatively new technology even now after a few years. But Intel charges a huge price premium because of their brand and reputation for reliability. And yet this drive died after just 9 months like any of the...

The drive is very fast and works great - while it lasts. I like the SSD toolbox software that lets you run optimizer and diagnostics. Drive doesn't require periodic firmware updates (or updates at all) - just works

The drive is failing after just 9 months of use (just like the reviewer before me). Mine did not die outright but I'm getting random freezes (requiring forced shutdown/restart) and it sometimes fails to boot. I'm lucky that it was functioning well...

Died faster than regular drive

I loved the speed. Got a fast score from Windows 7

but it died in 9 months. That's too fast for me and too expensive to have dud out like that. Of course I expected for the huge amount of money that it would last longer than that ; Big Bummer

SOOO FASSST

No matter how reliable, always get external drive for back up.

Fast Boot Time, Easy to configure. A little pricier than other SSD's but I simply believe reliability of Intel worth it. No one ever adds up what data is worth till it is lost

Fast and reliable

Fast and reliable. No problems at all. Just what you expect. We bought 2 and they've been wonderful under moderate to heavy use

getting out of date, there's better ones out there now for the price

SSD

First - if you don't have an SSD for your OS drive you are missing out big time. Second - this drive has been great. Been running 3 months with zero issues ; Scores a 7.8 out of 7.9 on the "Windows Experience Index ; Do yourself a favor and get an SSD...

It's only 120GB, but eh its plenty for an OS just have a "data" drive as well
