WOW

I'll come back in three months and post again. Things of concern are; 1) Continued speed with use 2) Durability Scored a 73 on Win 7 experience rating for primary drive. Takes 20 secs from turning the power on to looking at a login screen....

1) Speed ; 2) Speed ; 3) Speed ; 4) Easy to install

1) Price ; 2) Price ; 3) Price

G Skill support is the worst!

Gskill is by far the poorest communicator I have ever dealt with regarding an RMA. It takes a week to get a reply to an e-mail and it takes over $100 in shipping costs between Newegg and Gskill to make something right. DO NOT BUY GSKILL PRODUCTS!!!!!...

None- drive never worked/incompatable with system. But, with the great policies of Newegg, I RMA'd this thing twice only to be able to get the same drive that was know not to work in my system. over $100 in shipping costs and counting until they make...

G Skill support is so horrible, I cannot begin to explain. I had authorization to RMA the 2nd "replacement" drive back to Gskill to get the NON-FALCON version of their 64GB SSD, only to have Gskill send me another Falcon

Best Notebook Upgrade EVER!

I have a 128 Gig Crucial CT128M225 which posts even better performance numbers here on Newegg but, the Crucial actually runs a little bit slower than this Falcon.

I have an Executive-Level Outlook user in the company that has an extremely large email file (19+ Gig). Yes, I know, Microsoft will only support up to 2 Gig. Anyway, it was taking a 320 Gig 7200 RPM HDD about 5 minutes to open his email. I put the 128...

It took me a long time to get cleared to use the Forum where G.Skill posts their updates & software downloads

Amazing

The Falcon SSD completely changes the Windows 7 experience. Worth the cost.

Wicked fast, no heat, no vibration, no noise

none that I can think of

Great SSD

Fast, Fast, and once again, Fast. I installed Vista 64 on it and tweaked it. Worked great. Currently running Windows 7 with no changes or tweaks and the thing is great

Yeah they are all the cracked up to be

I was geeting terrible perf on 7 compared to vista. than i went and got the newest raid drivers online and fixed all that i had stutters on older drivers for x58 once i updated them that went away.

I have two of these in raid zero getting upwards of 450 mb read in had tune with 360 mb average easy to setup and boot time is fast it takes longer to go through bios than it does to load windows

price of course but couldnt wait any longer

It worked great at first

I hope my next SSD is not as troublesome as my first one was!

It worked for almost a week

When setting up the computer everything went smoothly, and it continued to work for about a week with no problems. Then the lockups and crashes started. After running a diagnostics on the SSD I found there where serveral bad sectors that could not be...

Awesome

If you can afford it and you have a good understanding of PC's, then get it. If your a newbie to computers, then I would wait until the technology matures more and when Windows 7 arrives already optimized for SSD's.

I see some of the negative reviews so I wanted to post my experience. This drive has worked flawlessly in my Vista 64 bit system from day one. Shortly after installing, I went to the Gskill forums and applied some of the optimization tweaks. My read...

Using three of these heavily; so far so good!

Don't mess around with SSD on other controller. These are sweet and in my opinion SSDs have officially come of age with the Indilinx controller.

Indilinx controller ; Price per GB ; comes with usable Firmware ; No issues whatsoever after one month of heavy use

Not getting 200MB+/sec in HD tune? maybe I am doing something wrong

Clarification

I'v read the reviews and thought many of the pros people listed outweight the cons. Plus it was cheaper for more space. As soon as I ordered it I registered on the support forums because people complained that it took forever to get approved. I was...

Specifications:very fast read/fast write,hugh cache,128GB ; 100 cheaper and 8GB more capacity than comparible SSD

I will update this as they occur, I'm hoping for none :)
