Wifes tired old 3.4GHz socket 478 based system is reborn - runs like a top now! I'd buy more if I could & raid them for monster fast performance.
Small, no moving parts, good performance (not best, but vs. price, this is good performance), easy to use externally with included USB port. None of the other SSD's I found have this feature. Made in USA! Includes a rubber sleeve, if you choose to use...
A little expensive still (I paid a lil less than the 129 now on her pricetag). Users should tweak their XP systems to properly run an SSD drive - not a big deal

i might get another one for a RAID windows 7 install. and DO NOT DEFRAG AN SSD it is not only harrmful to the drive but unnecessary as well.
i have a vista install on it and it runs 2x faster than my old hdd. bootup time is less than 5 seconds with a phenom 710 and 4gb ram
capacity is the main con another 64gb for the price would be great. i don't have any other large cons

If you plan on using SteadyState and love rebooting to commit changes to disk, than this will work fine for you. I have lost countless files using SteadyState as the drive doesn't work well with lots of small writes.
Cheap ; Fast under Windows Steady State control ; Fast under perfectly sequential writes ; USB port onboard
After all the XP tweaks on the web, it still stutters like mad. OS is completly unusable ; No FW updates

140Mbps avg read in my new system (100 was in the old one) writes are about 85mbps burst read 155mbps and seek time of 0.2ms amazing drives, comes in a nice tin box, and a silicon protector so you can use as an external, metal casing on the SSD
pricey now, i paid 150 for it, wish it would still be at that price

i wish that filemate would have posted accurately mesured stats, i bought at 150, but now it went up, but they are supposed to have a 5 yr warranty :), overall very pleased with it
blazing fast 100mb avg. read in hd tune, 75mb avg. write, 0.2 ms seek time
slow for a ssd compared to the pricier ones
