despite the poor write performace this drive can still offer signifigant advantages over traditional hard drives for limited cases. I would not recommend it as your single hard drive or a drive that contains the windows swap file. But as a pure boot...

Very poor random write performance. This is one of the 1st generation SSD's that were built with an inferior JMicron controller, as such they offer very poor random write performace. It starts poor and deteriates over the life of the drive. It does not...

Either get a mini USB cable that can fit within the rubber cover, xacto-knife off the excess rubber, or remove the drive from the rubber. This is worth 1 point knocked off.
Light, solid-state, plugged in and it worked as expected
Rubber cover has hole for mini-USB connector, but it's not big enough for the included USB cable
