Great SSD

Of course, this SSD has only been in service for a little over a week so I can't comment on long-term performance/reliability. I will update this review accordingly if anything arises, however my experience with other Micron drives built on the same 16...

I love supporting Micron and love even more that their latest SSDs (the BX100 included) are top-tier performers relative to competing products. This SSD has been deployed in a security appliance box and has so far performed flawlessly.

None so far.

Affordable SSD

It's good for my budget, fast and stable. I can use Crucial Storage Executive to manage and upgrade firmware for this. Will buy Crucial SSD for my next build.

None so far.

Great SSD

120GB is great for a boot device, but only for such matters. Your better off getting a 240GB or above if you plan to put games, videos, or High Quality photos.

Very quick SSD (For the year it was made and using the ACHI protocol still). Win 7 automatically picks it up at boot.

None really other than the ACHI protocol is going to be replaced soon by nVme

Outstanding little drive!

Why are you still reading this and not at checkout?

This drive has worked wonders for my start-up! I timed the start from a dead stop, and came to a impressive 37 seconds from button push to active desktop. That's including me selecting the account for Windows 7! This drive is marketed as the...

Great low-priced drive

First few days and nothing but great performance. New build using this drive as boot drive and Windows 8.1 OEM (system builder). Cold boots to user login screen in about 12 seconds. So far it's a great drive, as expected from Crucial.

Great for Macbooks!

I bought this to upgrade a friend's macbook pro. According to a benchmark I saw online: Here are the SSD speed results using CrystalDiskMark 64-bit: - THIS DRIVE: Crucial BX100 250GB SATA 2.5 Inch Internal Solid State Drive - CT250BX100SSD1 : 541 MB/s...

-Price -It's a Solid State Drive! -Decently fast

-Not as fast as a Samsung or Intel -No included bracket/screws

Crucial CT120BX100SSD1

It was empty.

I have two crucial SSD's in my main rig, one is an M500 CT120M500SSD1 and the other is an CT240M500SSD1. Both have been excellent. Blazing fast and reliable, after a year I have had no issues and based on those two I would recommend Crucial. However...

I got an empty box. Nothing. Zero. One sealed, and empty box. I was so excited when the delivery came and I could put this build together that I had planned for weeks. But now I don't know if I can even get my order fixed. Can I RMA an empty box? Who...

Fast

If you are thinking of buying an SSD, be ready to buy them for all your computers. Once you use a computer with an SSD, you will think all other computers are slow because of the spinner drives.

Extremely fast. I would say this is the biggest difference in speed of any upgrade to my computer ever.

120GB fills up fast. I would buy at least the 240GB size, if I had it to do again.
