Abit IP-35Pro 4 gig Ram Q6600@3.4gig ATI 4970 oc'd

Was looking toward the Intel M-25 or the OCZ Vortex series til i did my own research. Due to limited stock of the other 2 manufacturers I decided to go w/ the Crucial. I will have to say these do everything as promised. In fact I'm going to buy another...

Dont believe the "instant" hype. Its 4x faster but still not instant.

e8400, 4GB Mushkin, Gigabyte P35-s3g, 8800gt HDTach reported 236MB/s Windows 7 Pro boots to the desktop maybe 2 seconds quicker then my 74GB Raptor 16MB cache. I ran through the tweaks but didnt find that they helped much...the tweaks are not for speed...

Crucial makes a great SSD

I didn't purchase this drive here, but it is awesome. Using WIndows 7 64-bit. I have an old system too, Athlon 3700+ 754 on nforce4 motherboard. Easy to install. New firmware just came out, version 1819. http://www.crucial.com/support/firmware.aspx,

Fast, completely silent, and obviously durable. There's no need for a mounting bracket like everyone always says, if you can set it somewhere and get one screw into it to secure it, it will be fine. It doesn't weigh hardly anything. Might even be able...

No mounting bracket :P just kidding, there are no cons just make sure you check your firmware before you install it on Windows 7
