Speed, surprise, and violence of action. This hard drive has them all. My macbook pro is from 2010 and it smokes core I7 win doze machines in it's sleep. Combine this with 16G of ram and you will have a smoke show of a mac.

I would suggest to anybody that if they're looking for an affordable drive that just simply works, then buy this one. You can't go wrong. If, in the future, I require another SSD I would buy this drive again without even thinking about it.

This paired with a Angelbird PX1 PCIe x4 adapter for PCIe M.2 SSDs are amazingly fast on Apple Mac Tower 5.1. It's noticeably faster than Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM) . It's ridiculously faster than a spinning HDD.
