The perfect setup seems to be a 240Gb or bigger SSD primary drive and a 1Tb or larger reagular HDD for data like music, pictures and photos. Programs that dont need the speed of an SSD can be stored on this HDD secondary. I have Windows 10 and a few...

Came in an anonymous brown OEM-like cardboard sleeve, which is unlike the Intel SSD purchases I've made in the past. The case feels like its made of plastic and feels very fragile to the touch, again unlike other Intel SSD's I own. So far, confidence...

Still going like a champ for over a year (bought Dec 2013). Upgraded from a 8 or so year old 500gb WD blue to this. Now this is my boot drive and the other is back up.

Very good product - does exactly what it is meant to. Only downside is that it doesn't back up on time capsule as its seen as an external drive.....but that is a Mac issue, not the drive issue

this ssd is super fast and easy to install, but highly unreliable. Installed to of them in two computers less than one year ago and both of them are dead. the drives go bad without any warning and no way get your data back. make sure you have very good...

Seamless, you have to physically tell people it's there and they still say 'where?'. Speed: it's as fast as saving to the hard drive. Just can't fault it, if you need extra memory this is the easiest and most compact way of getting it. Can't fault...

This is a decent enough budget SSD, which is ideal if you're wanting to replace your old hard drive with a more modern one. You will want to read up on the internet first, just to be sure you know how to install the drive because this doesn't come with...

Mounted on a Thinkpad X201t, works great under Windows 8.1 pro. Super fast, windows 8 boot at about 15 seconds. Extends the battery usage time well. With the regular HDD, battery usually lasts 3 hr, now is more than 6 hours. So far no problem, hope it...

Copied one file and that opened fine when subsequently double clicked from the secure software. I then copied 40k files (140gb) and no matter what file I double clicked on, Windows 8.1 stated that the file was corrupt. I formatted the drive (after...

As SSDs go, these ones are a good compromise between price and performance. Nice and fast, at a good competitive price. Bought 2 now for 2 different systems, as they're good little drives.

I purchased this after the SSD failed in my HP Chromebook 14 (after around 18 months of use). It was quite an adventure installing it, but there was a really helpful guide on YouTube, and since I had nothing to lose, I forged ahead, dismantled most of...

Ended up using Time Machine to back up and then "restore" the image onto the new drive. Worked overall, anyhow.

Easily installed on a 2009 firmware updated Mac Pro with OS X El Capitan. Quick install. Booted right away. Speeds for writing were dead on at 980-1000+ MB/s. Reading speeds weren't as good as reported at 1000-1200 MB/s but still incredibly fast...
Speed, surprise, and violence of action. This hard drive has them all. My macbook pro is from 2010 and it smokes core I7 win doze machines in it's sleep. Combine this with 16G of ram and you will have a smoke show of a mac.

I would suggest to anybody that if they're looking for an affordable drive that just simply works, then buy this one. You can't go wrong. If, in the future, I require another SSD I would buy this drive again without even thinking about it.

It took a lot for me to buy OCZ again. I had two Agility 3 SSDs that failed. Toshiba (OCZ Solutions) replaced them with two VTX460s. They work so well that I'm buying OCZ again. Also had a couple of SanDisk Extremes that perished within 18 months so...

This paired with a Angelbird PX1 PCIe x4 adapter for PCIe M.2 SSDs are amazingly fast on Apple Mac Tower 5.1. It's noticeably faster than Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM) . It's ridiculously faster than a spinning HDD.
