ADATA XPG SX300 mSATA Solid State Drive Review

Today we are taking a look at ADATA's flagship mSATA drive the SX300. It is outfitted with the latest LSI SandForce SF-2281 controller. Let's see if this is the

– Small form factor ; – Solid performance ; – 3 year warranty

– A little more expensive than other mSATA drives

Multiple RMA's, Poor QC?

Fastish, small and cheap

I've had 4 of these installed in Intel NUC's and I've had to RMA 3 of them. All in cooled environments mounted to TV's in galleries. No jostling, dropping, heat, etc. One day, the machine won't see them on boot. Can't format, diskpart, etc. 1 out of 4...

Adata SSD worked great, then died

The Adata site states that this drive is warrantied for 3yrs. Going thru the RMA process right now. We'll see if they stick by the product. Put the original Samsung 128G back in for now.

fast, worked, easy to install

Died after 10 months. Had it installed on my dell xps 12.. one day it froze. On rebooting bios no longer "saw" the device
