Xiaomi Mi Band review

Though still not a household name outside of Asia, China's Xiaomi is gaining in global market share for smartphones , and it's not stopping there. Like so many of its rivals, it's also breaking into wearables, with its debut device being the Mi Band...

The Xiaomi Mi Band is a water-resistant fitness tracker that measures your steps and sleep patterns. It's ridiculously cheap with excellent battery life to boot.

It's only compatible with Android 4.4 devices and the gesture motion to light up the Mi Band's indicator lights can be hard to master. There's no word on iOS compatibility.

At $13, it's really easy to forgive the few flaws the Mi Band has, though getting one will be challenging unless you're in China.

Overall I found the Xiaomi Mi Band to be a great piece of kit, it offers pretty much what the big names in fitness tracking offer, albeit without the built in social networking side of things like with the friends and challenges of FitBit. So if you’re...

Xiaomi Mi Band review: A bargain price fitness band with great battery life

The China-made Xiaomi Mi Band easily matches the competition in tracking your steps and sleeping patterns for a fraction of the cost.

Xiaomi Mi Band review: Great alternative over pedometers, but fitness enthusiasts should look elsewhere

We review the Xiaomi Mi Band which is priced at Rs 999

So who is the Mi Band meant for? Well, if you are someone who needs an affordable activity tracker and aren’t bothered by the limited data available, but just want to track how many steps you’ve walked and how much you’ve slept - then the Xiaomi Mi...

Two weeks with the Xiaomi Mi Band, the wearable for people who don't like wearables

The Xiaomi Mi Band will impress you in a number of ways, if not just for the months-long battery life then for the ridiculously low $14.99 price tag. Check out our full review of the wearble!

If you've read my review of the Xiaomi Piston 3.0 IEMs, you probably saw me cheer them on as being extremely well priced with the quality of something a lot more expensive. The Mi Band is exactly the same. Priced at $15, it has left me legitimately...

Xiaomi MiBand review

A low cost fitness band perfect for those a little more casual about what they're tracking Xiaomi started out making its own custom version of Android, MIUI. Then it started making phones. Now, just 4 years on from first existing as a company there is...

The Xiaomi MiBand certainly isn't going to be for everyone. But it is a fitness band for everyone. Anyone put off by the much higher prices commanded by the likes of Fitbit, Jawbone, Nike et al will immediately have a barrier removed by the MiBand. I...

Xiaomi Mi Band Review: A Basic, Affordable Activity Tracker

Fairly accurate activity and sleep tracking Excellent pricing Long battery life Water resistant

Lacks a display Smartphone apps can perform the same functions Alarm feature doesn't work App sign-up process needs improvement

If you are looking for a basic activity and sleep tracker, then the Xiaomi Mi Band does the job very well. We wouldn't recommend it for those who can get by with a smartphone's built-in sensors, as any of the numerous available fitness tracking apps...
