Withings Pulse O2

Withings moves tracking to the wrist but issues still persist

Good battery life ; Useful run detection mode ; Insightful sleep data

Screen is difficult in bright sunlight ; Some inaccurate heart rate and run data ; Cheap-looking watch straps

Speaking to Withings and doing some research a percentage score of 95-100% is considered a good reading while anything lower is an indicator that you are probably not in the greatest shape. Staying fit helps maintain the right oxygen levels so you are...

Withings Pulse O2 review

Withings' fitness tracker adds pulse and blood oxygen stats to its classy package, but should you make room for it in your life?

Pulse monitoring ; Easy Bluetooth syncing ; Good battery life

You can’t wear it in the shower ; Screen struggles in bright light ; Sleep mode has to be manually activated

With pulse monitoring and bags of style, the businesslike Pulse O2 is great value but high maintenance.

Withings Pulse O2

This arrived just as I injured my ankle so it was not taken from its box for over a month. To say this is a pedometer is a disservice to this multi-use product, however that is the starting point, link it to free Withings Apps and go from there.

It is 4x2x.8cm and can be worn either on a belt clamp or a watch strap, both are provided. This device shows nothing unless you press the one button which is either bottom right or top left dependant on how you wear it on your wrist. It only fits into...

Withings Pulse O2 Review: A Wearable That Measure Blood O2 Levels

There's a ton of wearable fitness trackers already available on market, and that number will only increase in the coming weeks and months, as both wearables and consumer health tech continue to explode. Withings' latest foray into this market is the...

Withings Pulse O2

The Withings Pulse O2 activity tracker packs a lot of features, but isn't the easiest device to use in day-to-day life, especially if you're active.

Long battery life. Includes both wristband and clip. Measures steps, distance, calories burned, elevation, sleep, heart rate, and blood-oxygen level.

Requires mobile device; not compatible with Windows or Mac. Heart rate readings not continuous and inconsistent in testing. Difficult to use during activity. Data displays could be improved.

Perhaps more to the point, the Withings Pulse O2's heart rate monitor isn't a continuous heart rate monitor, so it does you no good whatsoever while working out. Compared with the Basis Carbon Steel Edition, which reads your heart rate all day and all...

Withings Pulse O2: A worthy FuelBand alternative?

A new wristband and blood oxygen monitoring make the newest Pulse a better band than before, but how much better?

Excellent pedometer, excellent app, affordably priced.

Can’t read your heart rate with the band on; screen is not always on, and terrible in bright daylight; not water-resistant.

A new wristband and new firmware improve the Pulse and make it a true fitness band, but it's not a big leap forward over last year.

Withings Pulse O2 blue

Now it has one, along with a new firmware update enabling blood oxygen reading and a redesigned app, and the whole package has been renamed Withings Pulse O2. So why was I less excited about it? Maybe because the landscape's changing so fast. But for...

Withings Pulse review

The walking portion of my daily commute got a lot shorter when I started at The Verge. The subway used to drop me one avenue and three city blocks from my previous office, and the walk added about...

Collects a ton of information ; Automatically tracks runs ; Helpful reminders ; App connects to third-party services

Touchscreen is sluggish ; Heart rate reader is finicky ; No low-battery warning ; Requires a lot of work

You've got all the numbers. Now what?
