Withings Go

These days, tech companies appear to be hell bent on creating high-end, Swiss Army Knife devices that can do it all. This has been particularly apparent in the world of fitness trackers. Over the past 12 months, we've seen an influx of...

An affordable and reliable tracker that’s ideal for casual runners.

Withings Go review

Withings' most affordable tracker yet doesn't skimp on novelty

Easy on the eyes ; Sets you free from your phone ; Eight-month battery life ; Affordable

Cannot show time by default ; Screen lacks backlight ; E-ink leaves visual artifacts

If simplicity is key, the Withings Go is a fine fitness tracker. While there are other models that accomplish a lot more, this versatile wearable offers a surprising amount for a rather small cost.

Withings Go review: Tracking on a budget

French company Withings has been central to the activity tracking and health markets for some time. It might not be as well known as the likes of Fitbit, but it has produced some winning devices in the past. The Withings Go is one of the cheapest...

Solid and water-resistant build, 8-month battery life, good Health Mate app platform

Limited features, underestimates steps, design not overly exciting, distance tracking not accurate, E Ink is hard to see at night

The Withings Go is one of the cheapest activity trackers out there, sitting in line with the likes of the Misfit Flash. Although the Go's E Ink display couldn't be called pretty, it is functional for showing step progress and, therefore, might be the...

Withings Go Review: In Depth

Withings Go review: There are loads of activity trackers on the market today, but the Withings Go might be the one that strikes the best balance so far.

Excellent battery life ; Unobtrusive design ; Clear display ; Simple operation ; Affordable

Poor watch functionality ; Tricky wrist strap clasp ; No backlight ; No GPS

As those who’ve dipped their toes into the activity tracking market will already know, it’s a crowded space, but few seem to have managed to combine the usability of the Go, along with its versatility, exceptional 8-month battery life and a sub £50...

Withings Go review

An activity tracker with an eight month battery life for under £50? Here's the Withings Go.

The Withings Go is perfect for simple activity tracking, with a clean app interface that's easy to read and offers lots of options, a brilliantly long battery life that means much less bother about charging and changing batteries, an always-on screen...

Withings Go review

It's hard to come up with a new spin on the basic fitness tracker. The Withings Go, with a few key changes, could have been a nearly perfect budget fitness band. Instead, the Go -- available for $80 or £50 (equivalent to AU$100) -- is a cute little...

Months-long battery life; always-on e-ink display; comes with band and clip accessories; easy to use and set up. Water resistant for swimming.

Chunky design and unattractive band; no extra watch faces or ways to see health data on the Go screen; can't be set to show the time as the always-on display.

Long battery life, water resistance and an always-on screen are the best features of the Withings Go, but for its price you can find better overall fitness trackers.

Withings Go hands-on review

An activity tracker with an eight month battery life for under £50? Here's the Withings Go

Although you don’t get all the possible data via the Withings Go itself. We like this tiny and colourful activity tracker with its e-ink screen, long battery life and extremely affordable price point.

Withings Go

The Withings Go has a fairly unique design, but you can get more functionality for less money in some competing fitness trackers.

Cool E Ink display. Long battery life. Easy to use. Waterproof.

Pricey for what you get. Failed to register some activity in testing. No backlight.

Conclusions I like the Withings Go. It's comfortable, has good battery life, and I find its E Ink display rather charming. But I can't shake the feeling that you should be getting more for the price, like the ability to permanently display time, set...

Withings Go, reviewed: E-ink in a fitness tracker, but not a great watch

With more watch faces, this could have been a winner.

Withings Go review: back to basics, but for 80 bucks

There's something to be said about a return to simplicity in wearable tech. The category brims with possibilities, but in the current throw-it-all-at-the-wall climate, it's hard to know which wrist...

E Ink display ; Eight month battery life ; Dead simple

Expensive for what it is ; Toy-like aesthetic
