Netatmo June

If you're one to stay out in the sun for too long and constantly get sunburnt, the Netatmo June could be the answer to your suncream-soaked woes. It's a smart and stylish wearable in the form of a bracelet that syncs up with your iPhone, and advises...

Netatmo's June does a good job of letting you know when you've had too much sun, especially if you burn easily, and its simple, unobtrusive reminders don't constantly nag at you either. For £69, it's a pricey gadget that just confirms that you need a...

Netatmo June UV review

Netatmo is on track with the June UV's design, but few people will be interested in its powers of UV detection.

Netatmo is on the right track with June UV’s design, but when it comes to functionality, it’s very limited. Only a small subset of people will be interested in June’s powers of UV detection. We think June would attract more attention and would-be...

Don't get burned: The Netatmo June tracks your UV exposure

The fashionable Netatmo June will keep safe from UV rays.

The Neatmo June looks like a piece of jewelry, making it more desirable to wear than other health bands.

There's no Android availability and the $99, £80, AU$140 is too steep for its limited features.

For $99, the June is a beautiful, yet unnecessary, way to keep yourself from getting burned by the sun.

Netatmo June

The June by Netatmo is a piece of jewelry that helps protect your skin from the sun by alerting you when you've had too much exposure for the day. It's not waterproof, and it's a one-trick pony, but from a fashion point of view, it's undeniably charming.

First truly fashionable wearable device. Reminds you via mobile app to reapply sunscreen, wear hat, etc. Includes two straps. Can clip on clothes.

Requires mobile app for alerts about sun exposure. No on-device information. iOS only. Not waterproof. Pricey device with limited use. Can't customize notifications.

Sun Worshipper No MoreThe June by Netatmo is the first wearable device that's truly fashionable, but its use is limited to just one thing. I have a feeling other wearable technology will start to incorporate UV ray sensors into other devices so that...

Review: Netatmo June

June's wearable sensor measures your exposure to UVA and UVB radiation every day, but it looks more like a regular piece of jewelry than a...

Small form factor. Successfully improved awareness of time spent in the sun, and increased how often we wore sunscreen. Doesn’t look like a tech device. App is easy to use and figure out

While splash proof, sweat proof, and rain proof, it’s not waterproof. Easy to forget to put back on once you’ve taken it off. Bluetooth LE connection was sometimes buggy

Don't get burned: The Netatmo June tracks your UV exposure

The latest wearable gadget doesn't measure steps or heart rate, it measures your time in the sun. Specifically, Netatmo's June bracelet has a UV sensor to track how much exposure you're getting and recommends the appropriate protection, be it...
