Moov Now

The Moov Now is the second-generation successor to the Moov. It's a fitness-focused wearable you put on only when you're working out. Using 3D motion sensor technology, it tracks and analyses activity via a built-in coach to ensure you work up a proper...

Lighter, smaller more elegant design ; In-depth data recorded and analysed ; Useful real-time coaching to make instant improvements

Activity tracking data is a bit basic ; Slightly grating voice coach

The fitness coach takes on a new look – with its smaller design the Moov Now is currently unrivalled. If you want to get into shape, investing in this activity tracker will be money well spent.

Moov Now review

A brilliant all-round fitness tracker

As cheap as fitness trackers come ; Brilliant range of fitness tracking ; Phenomenal battery life

No screen ; HIIT workouts need more variety in the drills ; Not the most fashionable design

The Moov Now is still incredible value for the breadth of tracking that it offers. It might lack a screen but for the low price you can run, swim, cycle, box and do crossfit with accuracy.

Moov Now review

It can be hard to get yourself to the gym. It can be even harder if you're a beginner and not really sure what workouts to do. There is the option of hiring a personal trainer, but that comes with an added expense many people may not be willing to pay.

The Moov Now is small and comfortable workout tracker with a long battery life. It can be worn in the shower and the pool. The Android and iPhone app provides real-time audio coaching and feedback for a wide array of activities. It can track sleep,...

It's not a good option as an all-day activity tracker; the syncing process is a hassle; it requires you to have a smartphone with you for coaching feedback; its best feature -- the boxing workout -- requires two devices.

The Moov Now helps beginners interested in working out take a step in the right direction, but you'll need to keep your smartphone handy to use it and overcome some quirks.

Moov Now review: A personal trainer on your wrist

A step up from your average fitness tracker, the Moov Now is an excellent way to add an extra dimension to your workouts

If you’ve already got your training regime sorted, the Moov Now won’t add much beyond what you already know, although you may find that the stride length and impact data add to what you get from your existing fitness tools. Neither will you get much...

Moov Now

With a digital voice coach that guides you through activities, the Moov Now is a good gateway fitness tracker for beginner athletes who want to learn their way around a workout.

Real-time coaching and tracking. Small, lightweight design. Waterproof. Great battery life.

Coaching requires a nearby smartphone. Fitness stats aren't as detailed as competing trackers.

Conclusions The Moov Now is a good digital coach for beginners who want to go from the couch to running 5Ks. The audio coach teaches basic workouts, encourages you to use proper form, and displays a decent breakdown of your progress afterward, which is...

The $100 (£65, AU$135) Moov Now is a workout tracker and coach for beginners that want to become more active and start working out, but don't know where to start. This little device, which is a follow-up to last year's Moov tracker, is like a personal...
