LG Watch Urbane

The LG Watch Urbane is the South Korean company's third attempt at a smartwatch, following in the footsteps of the G Watch and G Watch R. With the Urbane, LG has tried to create a classic-style watch that wouldn't look out of place in formal situations.

Sharp, round display ; Metal body

Chunky, tacky design ; Poor battery life ; Limited app functionality ; Questionable heart rate sensor

LG Watch Urbane LTE

After the LG Watch R, I didn't think LG could get smartwatch design wrong like it did with the first G Watch. Then I picked up the new Watch Urbane LTE, the first smartwatch to pack 4G LTE connectivity and it all came crumbling down. While it might...

LG Watch Urbane review

Beautiful, premium and probably not the smartwatch for everyone

Fashionable ; Works with iOS ; Decent battery life

Bulky ; No GPS ; Expensive

Essentially, the LG Watch Urbane is a pricier twin of the LG G Watch R. If style isn't your chief concern, then you might as well grab LG's more practically-priced watch.

LG Watch Urbane LTE review

Bigger, chunkier, no Android in sight

Nice build ; Fully featured

Chunky size ; Confusing interface

A nicely-designed watch but one that still needs some work to make it a real contender in the smartwatch arena.

LG Watch Urbane review: one of the best Android Wear devices to date

This stylish watch is a worthy rival to Moto 360, Sony Smartwatch 3 and Apple Watch

Bold look ; Decent quality construction ; Always-on screen option

Poor heart rate tracker ; Chunky and unsubtle design ; 1.5 day battery life is so-so

LG Watch Urbane review: All that glitters is not rose gold

LG launched the Watch Urbane to the world, saying it was time to step forward with luxury accessories that people would really want to wear. The LG Watch Urbane sets the bar high, but misses the mark. It's the most expensive Android Wear device, but...

Round dial, leather strap is standard 22mm size, latest Android Wear 5.1 software

Price is too high, design misses its sophisticated aim, plastic back feels cheap, it's big

The LG Watch Urbane sets the bar high, but misses the mark. It's the most expensive Android Wear device, but not the best quality smartwatch out there. If it was late 2014 then we might feel differently, but the market has moved forward.

LG Watch Urbane review

Is the LG Watch Urbane the best Android Wear smartwatch yet?

There's a lot to like about the LG Watch Urbane with its handy Wi-Fi connectivity and the welcome new version of Android Wear. Since it's essentially the same device as the G Watch R in terms of hardware, your purchase really hinges on the design. It...

LG Watch Urbane reviewed: The dressiest new smartwatch

It's round, it's metal, and it's got the looks. It all comes down to this: is Android Wear good enough?

Crisp, classic design; fully round, beautiful OLED display; latest Android Wear support; Wi-Fi antenna connects to phone across different Wi-Fi networks; decent battery life (for Android Wear).

Big design won't appeal to many wrists; Android Wear software still doesn't feel all that smooth to use; Wi-Fi connectivity spotty at times; watch is expensive compared to other Android Wear options.

The LG Watch Urbane is the best-looking Android Wear smartwatch and adds Wi-Fi-to-phone connectivity, but it doesn't offer all that much more than previous Android Wear watch models.
