Hydrow review: The best rowing machine in the business?

We've been virtual rowing with the Hydrow at-home rowing machine to find out whether it's the best way to exercise at home

Plenty of workouts ; Good choice of instructors (athletes) ; Syncs with Strava ; Solid design and build

No Apple Watch support ; Built-in speaker isn't very good ; Hard to connect with other rowers

This at-home rowing trainer isn't for those on a budget, but the friendly and plucky style makes it a very approachable experience for newcomers and seasoned rowers alike.

Looks great ; Addictive online classes ; Offers one hell of a workout

Chatty trainers get annoying ; Pricey even without the monthly membership ; You’ll need plenty of room

Hydrow Review

Combining top-of-the-line equipment with live streaming workouts, the Hydrow is expensive, but it's one of the most luxurious smart rowing machines you can buy.
