Review: Garmin Forerunner 310XT

Are you born to run? Garmin's latest workout companion is your new BFF.

Big display easier to read than Dr. Suess. Came up clocking like Flava Flav even after an hour spent submerged underwater. Vibrating alerts will leave you feeling informed. Links up with power meters, cadence sensors, heart rate monitors, and footpods...

Somewhat basic heart rate monitoring. Expensive, but look at it as an investment in your health; triple bypass surgery costs a lot more

Waterproof Garmin 310XT is an Excellent Training Tool

Waterproof., Full-featured run, bike, and swim modes - well-suited to triathletes., GPS accuracy and ease-of use., Wireless data transfer.

Somewhat bulky., Heart rate monitor does not work under water.

The Garmin 310XT is the most powerful and feature-filled GPS sports watch on the market, and will provide serious triathletes, runners, and cyclists with all the data they and their coaches need to plan training sessions, and to store and analyze...

Garmin Forerunner 310XT review

The Garmin Forerunner 310XT is the first and only GPS designed exclusively for triathletes. It is waterproof (to 50 meters!) and can go for up to 20 hours on one charge. Targeted to multi-sport athletes, the 310XT can categorize the activities in your...

It can be purchased by itself or with a waterproof, soft-strap heart rate monitor. While it can't transmit heart-rate data underwater, the strap can be worn under a wetsuit to shave down transition time.

great for multisport

only had a short time but already finding this useful for tracking my stats and getting accurate data/ mileage, not that it's made me faster yet but here's hoping?

Awesome if you're a runner and cyclist

The fact that you can wear this on your wrist and then unclip it and clip it on your bike is awesome. I was using my iPhone before for running and riding, but that was tucked away in my pocket so I only saw details once I'd completed the ride. I...

Everything I hoped for

I have wanted a Garmin for a year and love this one! It is bulkier than the 910 but it's also £100 cheaper and I'm not sure that the slimmer one is worth the extra money. My only criticisms of the device is the ANT stick which can be temperamental (it...

High Quality, does what it says

Love it

Has everything you need. Great fit, looks good, battery life is excellent. Only downside is that the adhesive on the cadence sensor isn't that great which I found out after returning home only to find an empty tie wrap around the crank!

It's a garmin

It's a garmin, we all know what they do and they lead the market for that reason. It's big and bulky like all gps watches but comes with more functions than a swiss army knife

Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit
