Garmin Forerunner 35 review

  (Rating Hidden)

The Garmin Forerunner 35 is at the cheaper end of the fitness-watch scale and it looks it, too. But fitness watches aren't rated on appearance alone, so we took this relatively compact watch to the lab to test out the wrist-based heart-rate monitor,...

Garmin Forerunner 35 GPS running watch review

Lightweight ; Stylish design ; Smart Notifications ; Vibration alarms ; Waterproof

Only one scroll button

The Forerunner 35 is a great, light, attractive, water resistant smartwatch that looks as good as it functions. We liked the smart notifications on this watch so much that we’d suggest the Forerunner 35 to anyone looking for a smartwatch regardless of...

Garmin Forerunner 35

The Garmin Forerunner 35 is a premium fitness tracker, and it includes the GPS and heart monitoring features not found in lesser-priced models.

Built-in GPS and heart rate monitor. Always-on display. Waterproof. Long battery life. Controls music playback on phone. Interval training.

No access to Connect IQ app store. Can't track swimming.

Conclusions The Garmin Forerunner 35 offers built-in GPS and heart rate monitoring in a waterproof design, long battery life, push notifications, and the option to control music from your phone. For $200 it's not cheap, but it's $50 less than the...

Does the job.

Been using the for a couple of months now and it does everything I want it to. I simply use it for tracking my pace and distance. Links well with Garmin Connect and Strava.

ok watch for the price

had this watch quite a while. It's good for the price. However the heart rate sensor isn't 100% accurate. a lot of the time it says I'm 160 when I'm not that out of breath, and sometime the opposite where I'm going 100% and it's only registered 105....
