Fitbit Sense review

The Fitbit Sense is a stylish smartwatch to help you cope with the stress of modern life

Detailed mood and stress logging ; On-board GPS for workouts ; Extremely comfortable to wear

Many tools require Fitbit Premium ; Step counts not 100% accurate

The Fitbit Sense is an ambitious smartwatch that seems like a perfect fit for stressful times, with as much emphasis on mental wellbeing as tracking physical workouts. There's room for improvement on the software side and its next iteration didn't...

Fitbit Sense review: Good health watch, average smartwatch

Offering a premium design and multiple health features, is the Fitbit Sense worth its price tag?

Solid and premium design ; Lovely vibrant display ; Easy to use ; Fitbit app is brilliant ; Good accessory collection ; Great sleep tracking ; Spotify support ; Great health features

Heart-rate sensor slow to respond ; Smartphone notifications pointless ; No Google Assistant yet ; Limited third-party app support ; Fitbit Pay support from banks is minimal ; Lots of features locked behind Fitbit Premium

If you're specifically in the market for a watch to help monitor your health - and you're happy to pay the monthly subscription for the extra insights - then the Sense is a really great device with so much data. But if you're in the market for a...

Fitbit Sense review

The Fitbit Sense boasts many new health features, such as ECG, EDA, skin temperature, & SPO2 sensors.

Stress tracking ; Great design and display ; Calls from wrist ; Fitbit app

Non-buckle wrist strap ; Some metrics for paying Premium subscribers only

For all-round physical and mental health tracking, the Sense is the Fitbit with it all.

Fitbit Sense review

Stress is more?

Comfortable to wear ; Nice OLED display ; EDA, ECG, SpO2 and a skin temperature sensor make the Sense unrivalled for health features ; Apple Watch-embarrassing battery life

Seriously buggy and slow ; Data overload can be both vague and confusing ; Forces you into selecting a certain watchface for SpO2 measurements ; You need Fitbit Premium to maximise it

Bugginess slightly holds back a well-rounded health-focused smartwatch that really tries to innovate

Fitbit Sense Review

As Fitbit's first premium wearable since 2017's Fitbit Ionic, the Fitbit Sense has a lot to live up to. Still, Fitbit has learned from past mistakes and included several features that fans have been clamouring for, alongside some new ones – but will it...

– new focus on health tracking, built-in GPS and battery life

What we didn’t like – limited software and the expense over time

With the Fitbit Sense, Fitbit has finally made a premium wearable that can appeal to the health and fitness conscious alike. As there’s no lacking for the amount of sensors included, and the vast amount of information and workout plans provided by...

Fitbit Sense review

Fitbit's latest top-of-the-line wearable offers an exciting new stress management feature, but it isn't without its flaws.

Six-day maximum battery life; super-fast charging ; Features clear and easy to use ; Impressive advanced metrics ; Guided workouts included in the watch

Glitchy setup and pairing issues ; No customisable face options

If your tracking needs are basic, you wish to monitor your progress on those home workouts, for example, we would steer you towards the

Fitbit Sense review: One of the best wearable sleep trackers

The Fitbit Sense is a small, compact wearable that tracks a lot of valuable health information -- all for an affordable price.

Affordable Detailed sleep tracking Includes Alexa and Google Assistant integration Great social integration Attractive design

Clasp could use improvement On-watch button was unresponsive Some features locked behind a subscription

“The Fitbit Sense provides detailed health-tracking information in a small package that's perfect for those with smaller wrists.”

Fitbit Sense review: Basic smartwatch, robust health tracker

The Fitbit Sense is a comprehensive health-tracking machine with basic smartwatch features and a new navigation system that can be difficult to master. It offers more wellness tools than Apple and Samsung at a cheaper price, and it's especially great...

Comprehensive health tracking tools ; Bright and sharp display

Buttonless design requires learning ; Somewhat sluggish performance

Fitbit Sense review: enough bugs to raise your heart rate

Fitbit's latest smartwatch has sensors, and bugs, galore.

Sleek design ; Bright, colorful screen ; Intuitive interface ; A ton of granular metrics, including SpO2, heart rate variability, breath rate, skin temp, and EDA ; Nice integration with mindfulness training

Lots of bugs and performance hiccups ; Solid-state button is fiddly ; Some things just don’t feel as fully integrated as they could be ; Battery life is cut in half if you turn the display to always-on mode

Fitbit’s latest smartwatch brings a bevy of new measurements and metrics to your wrist. But the Sense is really buggy in its current state and doesn’t quite live up to its promise.

Fitbit Sense review: Health tracking that makes sense

Fitbit Sense earns its high price with top-tier health and fitness tracking

Excellent battery life ; Reliable fitness tracking ; Intuitive app ; Extensive health tracking ; Stylish and unobtrusive design

Expensive ; Relatively small app catalog ; Uncertain future

The Fitbit Sense might be expensive, but its robust health and fitness tracking combined with excellent battery life justify its price.
