Apple Watch Series 10 review – more than meets the eye from every angle

Bigger yet slimmer

New display is gorgeous ; The 46-millimeter is way more expansive but doesn't feel massive ; Thinner build overall makes for a much more comfortable watch

Still fast, but the S10 chip doesn't deliver a performance boost over the S9 ; No increase in battery life, though fast-charging could solve this

After a week with the Apple Watch Series 10 it’s clear that the looks might be familiar, but a larger screen with much better viewing angles and a slimmer overall build make for a comfortable watch that feels more expansive than ever before.

The Series 10 feels a lot like a slimmer Apple Watch Ultra, and that's a good thing.

Incredibly light on the wrist ; 1Hz refresh rate = ticking second hand! ; Voice isolation on calls is excellent ; Bigger screen makes readability better on the smaller size case ; Sleep apnea notifications at launch

The absence of a blood oxygen sensor is a huge ding. But the Apple Watch still does everything else, and looks hella good doing it.

Bigger, brighter display. Thinner and lighter. Faster charging. WatchOS 11 has a ton of new algorithms. New sleep apnea tracking feature is FDA-cleared and potentially life-changing for a lot of people. Best accessories. New water features. New black...
