Expensive to buy ; No continuous recording ; Can’t mute chime

If you hate subscriptions, the Netatmo is a good smart doorbell. But could be better at this high price.

You'll also get partial HomeKit support, but some other features are missing from this premium-priced smart home device.

Fiddly installation ; Limited detection modes ; No Amazon or Google smart home support

The Netatmo Smart Video Doorbell has some attractive features and is one of the most premium video doorbells that doesn’t require a monthly subscription. In tests, it worked well although the lack of Amazon and Google smart home support is disappointing.

Netatmo Smart Video Doorbell is among the few wired smart bells that work with all power systems. And you do not need a subscription for full functionality.

Relatively easy installation. Stable connection, immediate response in the app, sharp image quality. Does not need a separate cloud subscription. Works with several voltage standards, also 8V.

Relatively expensive investment. Does not work with Google Home. 8V bell transformer can occasionally cause transformer noise.

Netatmo Smart Video Doorbell works like other smart bells: shows video of those who call, directly on the mobile. And besides, people sneaking around near the front door.
