Motorola's popular video baby monitor is half-broken
Between a barely functioning app and latency problems in the device, Motorola's baby monitor fails hard.
The Motorola baby monitor works fast out of the box. It is easy to use, and one of the most affordable camera/monitor combinations out there.
The third-party app is basically broken, and some of the features weren't even testable as a result. Even on the monitor at short range, connection issues are intermittent.
It's a fine basic device if you're just going to use it in the house, without the app. Even then, though, the connection issues would make me wary of relying on it.

Good monitor for keeping an eye on my baby
Like this monitor - much better than the one I had 4 years ago - love the zoom and tilt - may become useful when baby grows up and starts moving a bit! Pleased :-)

On our third monitor
We have had three of these monitors due to them all breaking with the same fault. Eventually they stop charging and tonight out third one has just broken with the same fault...such a shame as it's a good monitor when it works but number three going...

Great functionality but poor build quality
I decided to buy this product based mainly on Which? UK review.I think it is fantastic for camera quality, infrared function, display resolution and microphone quality.The only 2 downsides are 1. the base with the camera is not portable and 2. Plastic...

Great picture & sound, poor charging
Purchased this to replace the previous model MBP 36 which had a parent unit that failed to charge after 10 months use. It seems the same fault has arisen on the new updated model after only 4 weeks use.Perhaps I need to try a different brand altogether.
