From keeping your home secure to recording life's precious memories, there are loads of ways smart home monitoring manufacturers can guilt-trip you into buying their latest wares. Logitech has taken a very family-focused approach with its Circle...
Logitech has undercut all of its rivals with cheaper subscription plans and a unique feature in the form of Day Brief. It's still missing some advanced features, but it's now my personal favourite home monitoring camera.

Home security made accessible and fun
Charming design ; Excellent app ; Easy setup
A bit expensive ; Internal battery doesn't last long enough ; Doesn't backup clips by default
The Logi Circle has an modus operandi that focuses on capturing precious moments at home. Security buffs might scoff at the lack of comprehensive footage backup, but the experience is just fun. When was the last time someone said that about home security?

The Logitech Circle camera (or Logi Circle if you're on board with the new branding) is a powerful little home security cam with plenty of strings to its bow. The Logitech Circle certainly has a lot to offer and some stand-out features that make it a...
Affordable price tag, free and secure cloud storage, snippet/recording sharing, wide angle viewing, two-way audio
Poor quality footage at a distance or when zoomed in, only 24-hour max playback (without subscription)
The Logitech Circle certainly has a lot to offer and some stand-out features that make it a worthwhile addition to your home. If you're looking for a smart home camera that doesn't require a subscription cost then this is it. If you want footage...

Logi's $200/£159 Wi-Fi-enabled Circle Home Connection Camera shares similarities with DIY HD cameras like the Nest Cam Indoor , the Netgear Arlo Pro and the Canary Flex .
Setting up the Logi Circle Home Connection Camera takes less than 5 minutes and the app is easy to navigate.
Its people detection feature was somewhat inconsistent. The rechargeable battery lasts only a few hours and takes even longer to recharge. The Logi Circle doesn't work with any other Logitech products or products from other smart home manufacturers.
The Logi Circle is a decent live-streaming camera, but rechargeable models like Canary Flex and Netgear Arlo Pro do a better job.

Logi looks to offer something unique with the Circle - security, with a social, creative aspect. While that may sound confusing, all will be revealed in our Logi Circle review.
For the price, the Logi Circle is definitely an attractive option for those seeking a smart security camera for the home. The 1080p video quality is impressive, it boasts night vision, advanced movement detection and a two-way audio system, all for...

The Logitech Logi Circle is a security camera designed to help you 'protect and connect while you're away'. It captures detailed images in daylight, but how does it fare after lights out? We put it through its paces in our lab to find out. Read on for...

Longtime accessory maker Logitech has shortened down its name to just Logi for more of its user-friendly products, and the Logi Circle home camera marks one of the first under the new name. With Logi's focus on much more simpler, accessible and...
The Logi Circle aims to put simplicity and ease-of-use first, and we're happy to say that it ticks both of those boxes. Looking more like a webcam than a straight-up security camera, Logitech has crafted something that looks rather basic, but packs in...
Unfortunately, while the app works great, it's rather limited, and there's no real way to configure the alerts and notifications you get sent. That’s a downside of the app being designed to be very easy to use
The Logi Circle camera is incredibly simple, it’s easy to use and its built-in battery means you can move it around the house if you want to capture some quick moments in different rooms. That said, its app is pretty barebones and basic, and lacks...

Simple setup ; Thoughtful design and charging dock ; Works wirelessly ; Beautiful app UI ; Compiles Day Brief timelapse in seconds
No web client ; Omits certain clips every now and then ; Image enhance (zoom) sucks like on every security camera
The Logitech Logi Circle is a thoughtful home security camera that makes re-watching a day's worth of video clips entertaining.

It's perfectly clear that the Logitech Circle View was built from the ground up to respect your privacy in the home. Never worry about someone snooping on you.
Doesn't require additional app download ; Electronic shutter helps with privacy ; Designed to work indoors & outdoors ; Straightforward setup
Requires paid iCloud subscription to save videos ; Pricey cost for basic security features
Expert review by : John R. Delaney (pcmag.com)
The Logitech Circle View is an indoor/outdoor security camera that delivers crisp 1080p video and several smart features, but you'll need an iCloud account and a compatible Apple device to serve as a hub to take advantage of most of them.
