A bit disappointing

The scanner is well made and comes with a nice carrying case and a substantial USB cable. The performance is adequate for most documents and the software is also on par with other portable products I have seen. I am a bit disappointed with the business...

not recommended for traveling

Like others have said it has trouble grasping the paper. I had it in my carry on bag with my netbook, after the flights I tried to use it but it sounded like an electric razor and would not move the paper, after a whack on the side it started working....

excellent product

I purchased the scanner to use at home and for light work use. It has turned into one of the best investments I have made lately. It is constantly in use at work and I have had no problems with its performance so far. At this point, I would highly...

Great portable scanner

The scanner is simply great. I use it primarily on Linux (Ubunutu) - it's fully supported by SANE. I did install the software briefly on a Windows machine - it went fine and seemed to scan well ; It's small and produces top-notch quality scans. You...

Still Not Worth It

I needed a simple scanner for home to scan documents received in the mail & miscellaneous other items to help in going paperless and because my filing cabinet is full. Even with the resolution set at its max of 600 dpi the quality of the document is...

USB powered, plenty of presets, plenty of configuration possible and finally price with promo code and mail in rebate

Single sided scanning, document feeding issues, skewed pages no matter how the settings are adjusted, software crashing under Windows 7 and finally poor quality of scanned documents

very compact

the guy "paperless" who gives the device a low score because he is using the wrong software, and he acknowledges it....and also refers to the "old square usb" which any slightly tech savy person knows is a USB2 which is the fastest and newest...should...

Very good price

The price is amazing with the xerox rebate. Just sent off for the rebate, assuming all will go well with it. Scanner is like other portable scanners, comes with little pouch. Good quality and generally easy to use

Doesn't seem as easy to use as the Neat brand, but it was half the price. Can't figure out how to scan very large receipts effectively yet, but have only used it a few times so far. Definitely the best buy out there and worth the money

Small and Quiet

I have an old laserjet 5si networked in at my house. It is a workhorse, so I did not need an all in one. I don't have the room around my computer for a flat bed scanner. Since I mainly needed a scanner for copying documents, this fit the bill. I also...

Small, Quiet, No external power supply, nice travel case

The default delay of 500ms will result in skewed images, needed to set the delay to 900ms
