Xerox DocuMate 152 XDM152D-WU Duplex Sheetfed Document Scanner

Very easy to use. Love the feature that you can separate or combine pages

Wish it didn't take as long to heat up

Unreliable

When it does work, it scan fast

Scanner doesn't feed properly. Jams almost every time. Cannot process the amount of paper it claims it can. When it does scan, it works fast and great. But it doesn't, therefore it sucks

Pretty Good

Power switch is on the back, no biggie but annoying when I have to constantly turn it off due to chirping power supply.

Scans well. Software is not obtrusive or annoying

The power supply chirps to the blink of the power LED when the scanner is in sleep mode. Called support, they are sending a new power supply. Scan button quit working after a week, I initiate scans from the software now

My Scanner

If you want all purpose system, with a single purchase, then this is not for you.

When it works, it works

Constantly have to turn it off and turn it on to get it to initialize and start, other wise you push button that does nothing ; You click the scan button on 300dpi and up, it starts out like it JAMMED - Scares Dickinson out of you. It's not, it...

Works Great

For a all around good scanner I think this will do for a small office

The scanner works great. I have always used Paperport and this scanner hooks right up to it. I did 3 hours of scanning with my old scanner and this one took 15 minutes. To me time is money. For a small office it works great. I do computer work for some...

If you are looking for a picture scanner to me a flatbed works best. This scanner will do them but i think the quality is a little off for color images

throw away your fax machine save trees!

It's a great scanner if you get it installed, not sure why it did not work on my 8 year Dell laptop (maybe its time for a new laptop). I would recommend it!

One touch PDF conversion of your documents. Fairly easy software to get your documents after scan. I highly recommend this for anyone who has to archive or fax documents. Don't know why I went so long without it. Fast simplex or duplex scanning and...

Did not work on my Dell laptop with XP. Initially I bought the all-in-one Canon pixma Mx330 -that was a piece of junk (paper jam constantly when faxing more than 8 documents). Anyway, had a bit of trouble installing the software, but finally got it...

Works perfect

Duplex scanning saves so much time. I have put 1000's of pages through this scanner and it hasn't skipped a beat

Any version of PaperPort over 9.x is horrible, I have always had bad luck with them over the years. I still use 9 to this day and it's fast and effective

V. Good Product

Note correction - it "Scans documents at 18 pages / 36 images per minute." not 30 ppm ; Works well, fast for what it is. The supplied PPort S/W version - as has been mentioned - is bearable but far slower than ver. 9. Has held up well despite...

Not as flexible as the 252 which we bought at the same time but, for the price, it is a very good buy. Nuance support of paperport is, at its best, marginal

Xerox DM152 problems

I would try the Fujitsu

small footprint

bought it to archive tech papers, the OneTouch 4.0 SW freezes every 5 scans, changed all settings to reduce processing but did not help, have a vista very fast, massive memory computer, will try help line Monday

Small and Reliable

These have a very small footprint and fit on most desks well. We have 15 of these and never had one break. Rarely jam, but when it does I almost always find the original was in rough shape. Overall a great scanner.

Small size, reliable scanning, excellent scan quality in color and black and white

The output tray is easily broken off if left to close the the edge of the desk, and we have a few without them at this point. The scanners still work great without the tray
