Plug and play with my application. I usually have ordered more expensive scanners and I thought I would give this one a try. Works perfectly in a retail environment

Needs to be very close to the barcode label being read. It would be nice if they had an auto trigger feature, but overall worked as expected

It's a super cheap laser scanner, and it works right out of the box. The cable is quite long, so you don't have to be right above the keyboard to scan things

They didn't accidentally package a $500 wireless 2-D scanner in the box instead
