Good little scanner for the money

I used $500 canon scanners before these. Saw the price and decided to give them a try. Liked it so much for the price, bought one for home too. Works like a champ. Even saves as pdf.

Very low price for a document style scanner. Works good as long as you scan the calibration sheet first (put it in the scanner in a landscape orientation). Never had a jam or a misfeed and we use several of these at work now. Alignment is as good as...

Functional, but not high-quality for the price

It's functional, if that's all you need, but I think you can get the same quality for much lower price. My advice, pay a little more for a higher quality scanner

It scans... that's about it

I had a lot of trouble when I first got the printer, every time it misfed, the paper was "jammed" and the software would freeze up. I had to reboot my computer everytime. I got a new PC and I rarely have this problem anymore. It doesn't have a catch...

Cant tell anything on this "scanner"

Machine seemed cheaply made.

None, but thankfully I bought it from Newegg

Got it, plugged it in, wont calibrate. , Tried updated drivers, win 7, vista and XP. Plustek's support is below poor. No web based support/troubleshooting. Called (not an 800 number) during business hours , no answer from tech support. Appears that the...

PLUSTEK PLUSTEK SMARTOFFICE PS281

I am using this scanner for a small business that does a moderate to high volume of scanning. It easily keeps up with the workload and is very easy to use.

Good product, very easy to use. Excellent value for price

Cannot reconfigure buttons. Makes it a little inconvenient. Does not do double sided scanning, but has features to take care of that

Plustek SmartOffice PS281 641-BBM31-C 48 bit CIS 600 x 600 dpi (Hardware Resolution) Sheet Fed Scanner - Retail

Great speed on all scanning. Works well with full size document and odd sized items

The only con I have experienced is it's color scanning ability. It does not scan color documents well, they are very washed out. Thankfully, I do need to scan color documents that need good color

Good value

We have 3 of these that we use for scan and print to remote locations. They seem to work as they should. We don't use color as these replaced fax machines

We had to tweak the software settings to get the scan and print feature to work with legal sized documents. The auto feature didn't work for us. It works great out of the box with letter docs

Good value

For Rosewill to striaght up mislead anyone is wrong. IT DOES NOT WORK ON XP 64 BIT!!!!! If you are just using it for 32 bit go right ahead, you cannot beat the price. I have bought other Rosewill stuff with no issues, but in the future I will double...

Good product for the price...

Its a descent product for the price.

Good scan quality. Compatible with TWAIN/WIA

Scanning color documents is very slow. Gray scale and B&W are much faster
