small size and easy to use and battery operated without computer

My primary purpose in purchasing this was to clean up accumulating papers - easier to use than a flatbed scanner and faster, and hardly takes up any space. Added benefit is its portability.

Scans OK, but operation with Batteries only is erratic. Haven't replaced factory supplied Duracell's yet to see if that's it, but plugged in works well.

The scanner seems well thought out, but I haven't used the scanner yet.

The wand scanned but you could not recognize what was scanned and the battaries last only one scan and the base would not feed or scan a document.
