Garbage!!

Nothing much to say here apart from horrible experience from Neat customer service!! Absolute trash. That's the pros lol

Customer service is horrible!!! I've e-mailed them three times so far and not a single response!! Thought of returning the product but don't even see that option on their website (Bought it from them directly, I'm thinking that's a mistake). Software...

Cheap and Nasty - except it's not Cheap

Let's look at what's included here: a portable scanner of limited capability and questionable quality and software which cannot generate custom expense reports (you want it in Landscape? Tough.) and which only works with the extremely limited scanner....

It's relatively small. It's fairly shiny

Expensive, inflexible, poor quality.

Software is horrible

I have the previous model of this scanner though it uses the same software package. It might be OK if you live in the software such as a bookkeeper. Otherwise the supplied software is too slow and buggy. Unlike any other scanner I have ever used they...

Nice Scans

Everytime I use this product the company finds a new way to irritate me.

Research it for yourself

Please read reviews from actual owners, and ignore the other non-owners. they shouldn't be allowed to leave reviews of any kind. I got this in a lot of computer stuff from someone getting out of the repair business. I have yet to fully utilize all it's...

Small, light weight, does good for what it is. Good for backing up thermal paper receipts that fade and are unreadable. You know, like the ones you need for warranties

I do have to say, the software is a love hate thing. The database is great but it can be a pain with the stuff that's not really needed. IMO

Years on...

I've had this unit for just over 3 years now. Still going strong. I only use it while on the road, which was extensive the first year I had it. The last two years, it has been used probably only about once every two weeks (but consistent). I still use...

Convenient, reliable, excellent quality PDF scans of documents and receipts (esp. in color).

Software tries to do everything - this is really what you're paying for without knowing it. The software is bloated and slow, but actually pretty darn good at reading your documents and receipts and providing a full-blown database system for your...

Great for backup of hard copies

Sadly a bad review given too much attention can distract from a good product. Yes this is not the most robust electronic (i.e. don't get this if you plan to use your scanner as a hammer also) but it also does not feel "cheap." Scans everything I have...

Easily scan in most anything, good scan quality at 600 dpi, replaces my older all in one printer scanner which is 1200 dpi but is still good enough for anything I scan (mostly documents so don't need high image quality). Great to backup hard copies...

Does not auto feed multiple pages, but as I picked this up for $75 that is of little consequence.

Bogus Scanner and Concept

Anybody dumb enough to purchase this deserves what they get. PS - I don't have one but everytime I see those commercials I cringe at the thought of all of the records that will be lost. Also those scanners...CHEAP.

Makes IT ignorant users feel great that they have scanned their documents onto a computer.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Also they don't tell the users the hazards of putting all of their records on a single hard disk, and then disposing of the original record. Heck, I have Hardware (3Ware) RAID contoller running RAID 1, I then have Acronis backing up...
