Microtek ScanMaker X6 - Used to like it!

Simple to use. Great as a photocopier and can integrate with 3rd party scan software.

Breaks down way to easily.

Yet Another Nice Computer Toy!

This was my first scanner, the ScanMaker X6, which I bought in 1999. I was pleased with it's appearance and it wasn't too big- 17.3 by 11.5 by 3.2 inches (11 pounds)- so it doesn't take up too much space. The buttons, including the power button, are...

"Sorry, the Scanner's Out of Order..."

That's what I have to tell people most of the time when they ask if we have a scanner. I work in a medium-sized computer lab on campus at a major public university, and we have a Microtek ScanMaker X6. To say I'm unsatisfied with that scanner is a...
