Kodak i1210

Kodak's pricey i1210 scanner turns out fine-quality images, but it's poky and it doesn't scan two-sided pages.

Fast at scanning text, Top-notch text scan quality

Slow at scanning color graphics, No duplex scanning

Don't buy

It will go fast with the copies

The copies are the poorest quality that I have seen on a number of scanners. Try high quality and you will wish you never set it for that. The high quality is worse than the low quality ; How can that be

Expensive but found it to be worth it

If I had to do it all over again, I would buy exactly this same product. Oh yes... Oh yes... 64 bit worthy and their tech support spends an unlimited amount of time with you over the phone for free.

The i1210 allows you to place a stack of papers or photos in the slot and it scans them all unattended while you do other stuff. Lots of features like auto straighten, or tweak the first scan and run the rest with those settings ; My HP Scanjet 3c died...

Aside from being expensive, the only problem I have had is that items smaller than a 1.5" edge cant be grabbed and pulled into the scanner but that can be worked around

This scanner is the best one that we have owned. We are scanning 3/4 doents and I see speeds of 40 s per minute. It would buy this one again and again...

This scanner is super fast and it seems to pull any through that my other scanner would jam on. I like the small foot print that it has and its ease of use. We were scanning within minutes out of the box. We picked this scanner for the count and the...

The only thing that I can think of is there has to be a seperate flatbed

I1210 SF MONO SIMPLEX 30PPM USB 2.0 8.5X34IN 600DPI 50PG ADF

Hardware driven image processing does not require external software to enhance textual content of scanned docs. That allows this scanner to be used with our Electonic Medical Record software to gives great legibiliity with small file sizes

Hardware driven image enhancement, speedy scanning with enhancement, very reasonable price.

Descriptive information on what each of the very numerous options do would help select the appropriate ones more quickly.

KODAK I1210 SF CLR SIMPLEX 30PPM USB

Easy to operate, Easy to set up. Does not require a huge amount of space.

Fast, identifies the information better than any of the other scanners I have used in the past. Has not tried taking more than one sheet of paper at once yet. I scan 100 - 200 s per day, so far that transfer to a readable software program for...

KODAK I1210 SF CLR SIMPLEX 30PPM USB

Nice machine. Desktop footprint is larger than I expected but smaller than most other large capacity scanners I have used. Set up was fast and easy and the basic interface is straightforward.

FAST! Scanned over 800 doents in 10 batches with no glitches or bad scans

Brightness and contrast controls are touchy. Scans get progressively darker with Large batches. Can only select automatic control on one or the other. Small piece of plastic (part of the shipping padding(?))kept causing jams until I figured out it...
