The HP Scanjet 8200 can readily handle documents, photos and film, and is well suited to workgroups.

A legal-size scan bed and optional (but expensive) document feeder make HP's Scanjet 8200 a suitable choice for business users.

Business scanners generally have faster throughput, more robust construction, and a better duty cycle than graphics scanners, but the strong emphasis on text scanning often comes at the expense of image quality and capability. The HP ScanJet 8200 ($499...

The device we are going to talk about today belongs to the most expensive series of high-performance scanners offered by Hewlett Packard. But is the investment in this high-end and very expensive solution going to pay back in full? Find out if this...
Hewlett-Packard used to be a leader in the scanner market, updating its product line quite frequently. HP's scanners featured cute design and good functionality. In those times (not long ago, by the way) the Scanjet brand, and maybe AGFA's SnapScan,...

it does work well and like a scratch n dent appliance it sits back and u dont see the damage so....
quiet, powerful cpu, ddr3 mem W/ 2 open DIMMs, win 7 pro 64
looks like somebody smashed this thing with a sledge on the rear corner. Couldve been newegg. FEDEX LEFT THE CLEARLY MARKED ELECTRONICS ORDER ON THE PORCH IN THE RAIN. How many newegg packages do they deal with that they should know better? Probably...

Yes, would recommend. Can't say that the next buyer will be as lucky with the preternaturally fast delivery, but everything is hunky dory so far.
That was quick, especially since I'm in NY and the return address is City of Industry, CA. I didn't expect to see it till next Tuesday or something. Kudos, fellas, kudos!
no cons

Upgraded to Windows 10 (Pro) and installed a 240 GB SSD drive. Boot-up time is about 10 seconds and everything else runs super fast. The hard drive (a WD brand at that) is used for backup storage. Overall, one of the best investments in a computer I've...
Looks and runs like a brand new machine. These specs at this price is incredible. Brand new, in box Logitech USB keyboard and mouse. Just the right amount of memory and the 250 GB disk drive is fine for simple, everyday tasks. It's very quiet and runs...
Not really a "con", per se, but you have to read the specs closely. It comes with a DVD-ROM, not a DVD-RW drive, but this is another reason for the low price. I had a few DVD-RW drives around from old builds and installed one of them. Works fine.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I added a Mushkin 128GB SSD to replace the HDD it came with, instant fix to the slowness. The machine really is fast enough to do anything (except games). The original hard drive was really bringing down the speed. Once I replaced it, great everyday...
-Small Form Factor -Low power consumption -CHEAP! -Excellent build quality -Legal version of windows 7 that upgrades to windows 10 with no issues
-Spinning hard drive... so its slow -Power supply is special for this case, so replacements will be more $$ than normal PS -Built-in graphics are only good for basic stuff, no gaming on this machine.

Don't buy too many of these, I may want more of them.
Great price for i5 PC in exc. condition. Win10 64bit upgrade went flawlessly.
Shipped with no KB or Mouse BUT Newegg issued store credit immediately when told. Top doesn't seat properly, no big deal though.
