Decent scanner
It takes time to adjust to having the button on top, especially if you're used to trigger-type scan guns. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy use, but it's definitely alright for light office or home use. I'm using it to inventory computers and computer...
Works out of the box, just plug it in and it acts like a keyboard. Laser-type scanner. Cord is more than long enough.
Construction makes it feel cheap. Really small barcodes can be troublesome. Manual is very confusing if you don't understand barcoding (on the upside, the defaults are suitable for most users).

Easy setup, automatically detected by Linux when plugged into a USB port, long USB cable included, scans multiple bar codes. Laser diode. Good price at under $100. Good scan rate

Looks like the company has been reading these reviews as my copy shipped with a 10' cord. Very nice. Unit is smaller than I expected but seems well made. Branded Honeywell
