For the PHOTOGRAPHER - Negatives, Slides, and General Photos!

Superb resolution, colors, and quality when scanning slides, negatives, or anything for that matter.

None. Solved the problem with it cutting off part of the negatives.

Doesn't work properly with Windows XP

We've had this scanner for a couple of years, running under Windows 98. In general it worked well, although the "Epson Smart Panel" software was a bit flaky--sometimes (say 1 in 20) the interface screen came up completely black. (If you by luck clicked...

Great Price/Great Images

Easy to Use. Great images for price. Slide/negative scanning capability.

No power button. Less than perfect slide scanning.

Good, but some limitations

Auto mode, ease of installation, ease of use

Best Scanner I've ever had. Descreens magazine pics and scans slides!

You'll be happy with this scanner. I had a problem installing it, but the good Epson service call had me remove the UMAX software and the Epson software installed perfectly and easily.

Great, easy to use and descreens magazine pics. USB ... Fast.

Nothing wrong...I love it.
