Can't believe the bargain!

I have owned a $600 SCSI scanner for several years and thought it was too good to replace. A year ago I did replace it with a Canon scanner, which immediately broke and I received zero service and support from Canon (the broken, and expensive, scanner...

Semi-pro scanner under $400!!!

So simple to use, but so flexible for the serious user...

Gets pretty hot at times, not ideal for 35mm scans.

Just what I've been waiting for.

I hate to buy anything related to computers or new technology... ever since I paid $2,000 for a Sperry luggable with dual floppy drives, 512K RAM, and ran at 4.7 MHZ (I think).

Fast, incredibly versatile, very automatic mode or completely manual mode. Very wide range of resolutions.

Comes with complicated imaging editing software that isn't necessarily compatible with std. computer packages.

Excellect scanner for the price

I've been using this scanner for more than half year. Overall, it's a scanner that can give you very good results for the price you pay.

Good results for the price

TWAIN software/driver not so perfect
