it seems has some incompatibility with some PC with Win XP Home (at least mine). While it works well with Win XP Pro.

Excellent design, quick to use and easier than a scanner for this purpose.

Cell carrier could include ability to screen a roll of film rather than just individual cells. We are adapting ours for this use!

It does take digital pictures of your old slides.

The quality of the digital pictures leaves much to be desired, especially reproducing the original colours. The contrast is practically nil.
