Business card scanner and contact manager system in one
Fast in operation ; Easy to use ; Lightweight and portable
Not 100% accurate ; Expensive ; Doesn't support Office 2007
A useful bit of kit for anyone who exchanges a high volume of business cards

Here at PCA Towers we're drowning in business cards - it's our only perk (apart from booze and groupies, obviously). But not being organised, we find it difficult to keep track of these useful contacts.
If you're cursed with piles of random business cards - and using a Rolodex makes you feel a bit too JR Ewing - the CardScan Executive is for you. It's smart, effective and easy to use. But not cheap.

It probably won't revolutionise the office, but if you're looking for a fast, easy and safe way to store your business card collection, the CardScan Executive V8 is certainly worth considering

Parsing the information on business cards is hard to do well. CardScan Executive makes it look easy.
Small size. Powered through USB cable. Highly accurate text recognition and parsing of text on business cards.
No automatic document feeder. Pricey.

Keep your contacts in order with CardScan's Executive business card scanner.
If you’ve ever come home from a trade show with a pocketful of business cards, you know that typing endless reams of contact info into your address book can be a long and time consuming process. That’s where the CardScan Executive comes in. At two...

None unless you have a legacy 32 bit machine
No 64 bit drivers. So if you like to use memory and have migrated to 64 bit OS you can not use the card scanner
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Much better than the alternatives ... I've tried them ... but missing a direct to Outlook scan option without a flawless sync option caused me to stop using it. Works fine for new contacts, but if an existing contact gives you a new card, it's very...
High quality color scans. Good (not perfect, but good) OCR
No scanning direct to Outlook. Very easy ... too easy for me ... to wipe out existing contact information when new contact information (cards) came in

unable to change res it is always 300dpi which make bigger file size and slow scanning ; unable to work with it on another software picture is really dark on color scan ; NO Drivers only software
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Awesome.
Scans into Cardscan's software, not directly into Outlook.
