Canon - CanoScan D1250 U2F

We reviewed the Canon CanoScan D1250 U2F a while ago, and there's little to say that wasn't already covered in that review. The scanner is not quite as sleek and stylish as some of the other ...

Speedy scanning is the name of the game with the CanoScan D1250U2F.

Canon 0500 246 246

This is a good little scanner. The image quality is fair and, although not an outright bargain, the price is OK.

Canon CanoScan D1250U2F

USB 2.0 flatbed has high resolution and makes fairly fast scans, but its color images aren't up to those of previous Canons.

Canon CanoScan D1250U2F

Canon has a history in cameras, imaging, and optics. So it's no wonder that Canon's scanners cover the gamut of the company's interests. The Canon CanoScan D1250U2F is a film and document scanner; the Canon CanoScan N1240U, a photo scanner. With great...

Canon D1250U2f Flatbed Scanner

I used to own one of those 2nd generation scanners that connect to your parallel port. It was a Visioneer Paperport and I never really liked it. Its max resolution was like 800DPI and it was very slow to scan a 8 * 11 page at 300DPI let alone 800 lol....

Flaky Software

Reasonable looking, nice lid

Software is flaky and not upgradeable to make you buy a new scanner. White elephant!

Canon D1250U2F Flatbed scanner - I Like It! I Like It!

It had been a while since owning my last flatbed scanner; I'd been without one for almost 5 years. I substituted by using the HP flatbed scanner (which was excellent) at my former place of employment. That flatbed could scan at resolutions as high ...

Inexpensive flatbed scanner with excellent resolution and generous software bundle.

Takes a bit longer than I would like to start a scan.

Do NOT buy Canon if you have MS Office.

After using the Cannon CanoScan D1250U2F for several weeks, I have found everything to be acceptable with one MAJOR exception. The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software bundled with the system is more that just a few years old. In fact it is...

Excellent hardware components, sturdy, compact.

Bundled OCR software is three versions old and will generate security violations.
