Kodak should have bundled more software than only ReadIris Pro, and we reckon the price is a little high, but the i40 is a good, solid performer that won't let you down. Judging by the build quality, it will last for years and years.

Did everything I wanted. Portable - no computer required to scan. Just need to buy a memory card and then plug that into a memory card reader for transfer to computer later. Great for business cards.

I am very satisfied with this scanner that I have used a dozen times already. Would recommend it to anyone. Portable is the key word here. Can take it anywhere for scanning pictures or documents. For business or pleasure. Reasonably priced.

garbage get the fujitsu scansnap 1300i way better product.. not as portable but less problems for around the same price....trust me the fujitsu is still very portable when you by a bag for it... this is a wand the scansnap is a mini portable scanner

In the end, the IRIScan Pro 3 Office is a great choice for OCR tasks, but it's not the fastest of the hybrid-style portable scanners and its image quality isn't top notch.
